Real Time Demos On The Web

      PaperWise and Pegasus use the Internet for more than just moving documents. "We use it for training. We use it for support. We use it for sales,'' said Langhofer.
      According to Langhofer, PaperWise uses software from Webex Communications, Inc. that enables parties miles apart to share a computer screen and interact as though they were in the same room. Leslie Berlin said Pegasus also uses Webex.
      "So we can take you through the entire product. You'll be looking at our desktop here, we'll be talking over the phone and you'll see me drive the mouse,'' said Langhofer.
      Participants can see each others' desk tops and the results of menu choices and mouse clicks. They can speak over the phone in real time and get clear, vivid answers and demonstrations.
      Webex and similar technologies are used by many companies these days, but they seem particularly at home in the virtual world of document imaging.
